Stage 4: Boží Dar – Kraslice

The fourth section of the Ore Mountains Trail starts in Boží Dar and takes you through a wild landscape full of peat bogs. You will ride along the unique Blatenský příkop water ditch (UNESCO), pass Horní Blatná and, via the characterful village of Přebuz, begin your descent from the ridges. The main destination of this stage is the town of Kraslice in the Svatava valley. The stage is 46 km long.

Z Božího Daru vás cyklotrasa č. 23 povede kolem Božídarského rašeliniště do bývalé hornické osady Ryžovna.

Odtud projedete drsnou krajinou přebuzských rašelinišť a minete bývalý cínový důl Rolava s fotogenickými betonovými torzy staré továrny. Za Rolavou trasa č. 23 již definitivně opouští nejvyšší náhorní plošiny a přes obec Stříbrná vás čeká příjemný a dlouhý sjezd do cílových Kraslic.

Celá etapa má převážně klesající charakter, protože z horských plání plynule sestoupíte o pět set výškových metrů níže do kraslického údolí.
