Boží Dar (1,028 m above sea level) is the highest-elevation town in the Czech Republic and serves as the natural hub for cycling tourism throughout the mountain range. The Krušnohorská Magistrála (Cycle Route No. 23) runs right through the picturesque town square, which is dominated by the Baroque Church of St. Anne and the historic town hall building. The town offers excellent facilities for tired cyclists, ranging from an information center to a variety of restaurants and guesthouses.
Right in the center, you can use secure bike racks, which can be found, for example, at the local information center or at select bike-friendly restaurants and bike repair shops. Boží Dar is thus the ideal place to recharge, have lunch, or fix minor mechanical issues before continuing your journey along the ridges.
