This fascinating sandstone rock formation, full of bizarre towers and gorges, is located on the very outskirts of the village of Tisá; Cycle Route No. 23 passes very close to the site along the road that runs along the lower edge of the rock massif. Cycling directly into the rock labyrinth is strictly prohibited due to nature conservation efforts and the challenging, stair-step terrain. However, the rocks are easily accessible as a quick detour on foot.
One option is to leave and lock your bikes at the information center in the village center and set off for the rocks from there. The Tisá Tourist Lodge on the eastern edge of the massif also serves as a great base right along the bike route. There is a second entrance to the rocks here with a ticket office; you can conveniently lock your bikes there, and the local restaurant is a great place to refuel before tackling the next section of the route.
